Promises, promises
I always have good intentions of staying on top of projects such as tumblr, but never fail to let the day to day get the best of me. Fair warning to those who actually look at my tumblr, I am going to inundate my tumblr with the goings on of my past two months via pictures. Enjoy!

Pic spam time! Florence and the Machine - Austin City Limits Taping, June 2011. This taping happened about a month ago but I thought I should share. Flo is amazing live! Yep, I just called her Flo, I did.
Quite a day so far… It’s 101 outside and I just walked a mile to start my journey. While on my way to catch the number 3 my shoe literally fell apart. I walked the last 1/4 of a mile with a bare left foot. In the event you were not already aware, asphalt in the Texas summer is incredibly hot. Thanks to a conveniently located convenience store, I acquired a tube of super glue and haphazardly fixed my shoe. Luckily, I didn’t miss the bus and I’ve been able to continue my journey downtown.
The day is not yet over. Wish me luck with the rest of it.
The dogs just got baths. My girl is in TN enjoying her last day on the Bonnaroo grounds, and flys home to me tomorrow, ( Net, you best enjoy yourself tonight! You’ve worked so damn hard. You most definitely deserve it!). I’m drinking a beer of the hipster generation (PBR) and I’m shuffling through my iTunes. Here are the past 12 songs that have popped up:

I’m behind, way behind…
Okay, so I’ve been slacking on my posts. It’s easy to find a reason to not update and it’s easy to avoid putting yourself out there for others to ridicule. Not that I think the people who care to follow are ridiculing, it’s simply insecurity. Right? We all have our insecurities. As much as we don’t want people to judge us, we know that they do and sometimes it gets the best of us. This is coming from an almost 30 year old woman… After all these years I am not ashamed to admit I am still insecure about myself and what others perceive; Not in all aspets of my life but definitely some. I am constantly growing and learning, and hope to never stop. Today, I concede to put myself out there. It is a way to grow, to open up and be completely comfortable with the woman I’ve become.
In the next several days I intend to post updates on the tour, my current job and those little things that keep me going everyday. I hope everyone is happy and enjoying their surroundings. I know I am happy where I am. Are you?
